At adam we are committed to safeguarding and preserving your privacy when you visit our websites and applications (including,www.useadam.co.uk , www.sproc.net, etc. – collectively the “applications”) provide us or one of our clients or authorised suppliers with information or communicate electronically with us.

This Privacy Policy explains what happens to any personal data or sensitive personal data as defined by the Data Protection Act 1998 that you provide to us or an authorised third party provides to us, or that we collect from you when you are on the Applications.

Please note that from time to time we may update this Policy. Any amendments will be highlighted in this section so please do return and review this Policy regularly.

Whenever you give us personal data or sensitive personal data, you are consenting to its collection and use in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your web browser in order to enable your complete usage of the Applications. They temporarily create a unique user number to track your usage for each session and to make sure that the Applications work for you at your appropriate administration levels. The Applications will store the minimal number of cookies required per session and only those that are essential for your operation of the Applications. The cookies do not store any ‘personal data’ as defined by the Data Protection Act 1998. Your usage of the Applications constitutes your acceptance of the use of these cookies.

Information We Collect

Your experience within the Applications is built around the following core principles:

  • Information that you provide by filling in forms within the Applications, such as information provided by you, your Supplier or your local authority (who we assume to have your permission to do so)
  • Information provided to us when you communicate with us for any reason
  • Information about your use of our services or the services of our clients and/or suppliers
  • Details of your visits to Applications and the resources that you access, including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data, and other
  • communication data for example the web browser you use when accessing our Applications

Use of Your Information

The information is primarily used to enable us to provide or support the provision of services to you or to allow you to provide services. In addition, we may use the information for the following purposes:

  • To meet our contractual commitments to you
  • To report to our Clients and Suppliers on their/our performance of contractual duties to each other, to us or to you
  • To notify you about any other information which relates to the services you receive or provide
  • To provide you with information requested from us, relating to our services
  • To notify you about any changes to the Applications such as improvements or service changes or to issue contractual notices

Please be advised that we do not reveal confidential information about identifiable individuals without their permission to our clients and/or suppliers but we may, on occasion, provide them with aggregate statistical information about our users. This information may include diversity data, personal and sensitive personal data, data relating to services provided or received.

Storing Your Personal Data

Data that is provided to us is stored on our secure servers. Details relating to any transactions entered into on our Applications will be encrypted to ensure its safety.

We will at all times comply with the Data Protection Act 1998, as well as guidelines set by the Disclosure and Barring Service, The Health and Care Professions Council, The Care Quality Commission and any other regulatory body governing the contracts and/or type of service adam manage.

We may keep electronic data of performance, use of services, payment transaction information and issues for as long as deemed necessary to verify and produce internal management information and client reports or to comply with our contractual obligations.

We may transfer data that we collect from you for processing and storing, for example, we may be engaged in the processing and concluding of your requirement or offer, the processing of your payment transactions and the provision of support services. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. We will take all reasonable steps to make sure that your data is treated securely and in agreement with this Privacy Policy.

The transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure and therefore we cannot guarantee the security of data sent to us electronically and transmission of such data is therefore entirely at your own risk. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password so that you can access certain parts of our Applications, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. You should not at any time share your username or password with third parties to allow them to access Applications. If you become aware of any unauthorised use of the Applications you should contact us immediately in order that we may take the appropriate steps. You should only use your own password and login details to access the Applications and should not share those login details and passwords with any third parties or allow any third parties to access your own device when logged in.

Disclosing Your Information

Where applicable, we may disclose your personal information to any affiliated company in order to run our business. This includes, where applicable, our clients and authorised suppliers.

  • We may also disclose your personal information to third parties:
  • Where we are legally required to disclose your information;
  • To assist fraud protection and minimise credit risk.

1.Competition General Terms and Conditions

1.1 These terms and conditions are our “General Terms” and they apply to this “Competition” that we administer.

1.2 By entering the Competition you are accepting that you will be legally bound by these General terms.

1.3 The Competition may be modified or withdrawn at any time.

2.Promoter

2.1 adam HTT Limited trading as adam is the promoter of the Competition and is the person legally responsible for administering it.  adam HTT Limited (with Company number 07718565) is registered at 249 Midsummer Boulevard, Milton Keynes, MK9 1EA (“Promoter”).

  1. Entry

3.1 Entry is open to all persons aged 18 and over and who are resident in the UK except employees and their immediate families of adam HTT Limited or associated companies.  Proof of identity and age may be required.

3.2 Entries in to the prize draw are made by entering your name, email address and completing the survey during the NCCTC event and via the October Social Care Newsletter.  All survey answers are anonymous. All entries must be made directly by the person entering the competition. 

3.3 One entry per-person only, multiple entries are not permitted.

3.4 No responsibility can be accepted for entries lost, damaged, not received or otherwise.

4.Prize

4.1 The Promoter offers a prize draw for a chance to win a Kindle Fire or voucher to purchase a Kindle Fire up to the value of £100.00 (one hundred pounds sterling). We reserve the right (when reasonably required to do so) to replace the stated prize that we consider to be of broadly equivalent value.

4.2 The prize is as stated, and is not transferable to another individual and no cash or other alternatives will be offered.

4.3 The winner is responsible for expenses and arrangements not specifically included in the prize.

4.4 The prize is subject to availability and the prize suppliers’ terms, conditions and restrictions and the prize winner agrees to be bound by these.  This may include an expiry date.

4.5 The Promoter makes no representation or warranty in relation to the prize provided and to the fullest extent permitted by law we shall have no liability to you in relation to the prize, its fitness for purpose or otherwise.

  1. Publicity and Personal Information

5.1 The personal information supplied by entrants when entering the competition will be used by us in accordance with our privacy policy. By entering into the Competition, you consent to us contacting you to discuss any commissioning requirements you or your organisation may have.

5.2 You should read our privacy policy in addition to these General Terms. All entrants may have their details removed from our database by contacting us or via the unsubscribe messages in emails sent by us. If details are removed prior to the conclusion of the Competition and/reward of the prize, entrants will forfeit their right to claim the prize.

5.3 If you are required to submit a third party’s personal information to enter or participate in the Competition, you must ensure that the person whose details you submit has given their consent for you to provide us with their details.

5.4 The winner agrees to the use of their name, photograph and disclosure of county of residence and will co-operate with any other reasonable requested relating to any post-winning publicity.

  1. Prize draw

6.1 The winner will be drawn at random from all qualifying entries received by 31 October 2017.

6.2 Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted or are unable to comply with these terms and conditions, the Promoter reserve the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant drawn at random.

6.3 Failure to respond and/or provide an address for delivery, or failure to meet the eligibility requirements may result in forfeiture of the prize.

6.4 Confirmation of the prize will be made by email to the winner.

6.5 The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

These General Terms shall be construed in accordance with and governed by the laws of England and Wales.
