Smaller providers have a significant role to play in looking after our most vulnerable

In the latest edition of Tomorrow’s Care, our Managing Director Chris Wilson shines a light over the current level of government spending with Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SME’s). Which is falling below the targets they set out in 2015.

Highlighting research conducted by Birmingham University and the CQC, SME’s are better placed at providing personalised, quality and niche services to our communities. Mentioning two organisations, one Local Authority and one Commissioning Support Unit, who are doing all they can to make it easier for SMEs to deliver their services to the community.

“Finding the right framework, implementing the right commissioning process and using the right technology to execute that process is the only way in which quality and personalisation can be the central focus of care provision”.
